cheap material, high prices, not true to size

Sizing is totally off and a lot of the pieces had cheap details that laid oddly. I ordered a size 12, and my friend who is size 4 for the jeans comfortably. For preaching size inclusivity, the sizing was impossible to figure out. Let’s see how the return goes, I will return to a happy bar with a supposed instant refund. Very unhappy with the quality for the high prices. Forever 21 materials.

Consistently Terrible Customer Service

I’ve ordered from Good American several times because I love the way their jeans fit me, but each time I forget exactly how bad the experience is (and it seems to be getting worse), especially for the high price point. Each time I’ve ordered, it’s taken 2+ weeks to receive it (I live in Los Angeles where most things arrive in 1-2 days). Their customer service is ineffective and gives copy and pasted responses that don’t help. They delete Instagram comments asking about orders. Once they sent me a pair of jeans that had the entire back pocket torn in half (not part of the design) and wouldn’t take them back because they were “final sale.” Overall, just a consistently terrible experience and they seem unconcerned with making it any better.

disappointed with sizing

A little disappointed with sizing. I ordered 6 pairs of pants and 2 shorts in a size 8- my typical size. 2 pairs fit right the others are tight on the thighs and big in the waist, could be the style?

However the most disappointing is the shorts. I got 2 pairs of Good 90’s shorts. One black, one indigo. I had to check my order to double check they were the same style because they fit so differently but were same style and size. So I guess the color can affect the fit?

Overall, I just would like to be able to have some consistency with sizing from the same company. I got them on sale which is lucky but not sure ill buy again because its not worth the gamble of the sizing at the high price point.

Good American gone BAD

This would be zero stars if I could. I have purchased clothing from Good American several times. EVERY TIME a huge hassle! NEVER again. Example: most recent purchase was for 148.53 and days go by I have no confirmation so I call GA and their customer care is lack luster. He claimed I have no existing orders! Aside from chickens sounding off in the background I inquired where are you? He said Philippines. I thought of course another rich entitled witch offloading their goods to sweat shops. So I had to go thru several bouts of hell corresponding with GA and telling them my checking account has 148.53 pending so you took my money and you say order doesn’t exist? Hell no. I lodged many complaints on GA and PayPal as I paid thru them and those A&$;:/-!!! did not support me bye PayPal! Told me deal with GA direct. After much hassle the charge was pending and dropped off my account. Past experience bad as well. Items not received and zero visibility on tracking. I believe as a business your eyes should be on EVERY transaction so customers do not have to call all around asking where is my stuff! So bye bye Goid American the way you conduct your business is pee poor at best. And Koko it’s on you babe! Your company sucks and your customer service is the WORST! Regards-Former GA supporter. If I were to grade this company it would be an F-.

Response GA-OKAY how would money be taken from my account if a purchase was not made sent you screenshots way to make yourselves TRY to be astute! Lol! Horrible company and horrible communication. Case in point look at a the bad reviews on Trustpilot 64%! Yeah I’m going with worst company ever!

Shady Returns

I ordered a pair of jeans on June 23, received them around July 5, they were too big so I returned them the next day. I never got an email saying they received my return so I checked the tracking number and they were received at their facility July 13. It is August 23 and I still have not been refunded. They also charge a $7.99 restocking fee which is pretty lame.

Got it wrong both the times..

Ok so the first time I ordered a size 12, the (assuming) fake reviews on their website said order your original size, and so i did. The jeans did not fit, fair enough I order a size 16, just to be very sure. They send me a size 15 and it still wont go up past the hips, so I have my sister (who is a size 0) try them and it fits her (comfortably loose, but wont drop down). What kind of brand makes a size 16 jeans that a size 0 would wear. What kind of BAD body image issues are we subjecting women to? I should've guessed seeing a Kardashian is a brand ambassador. They have no idea what a real woman's body type is.

Also, its a money sucking scheme, they make their return poicy just so your money once gone to them wont ever come back. After chatting via text and email, they wont refund me the money and sent me a replacement. I don't wish to pay into this body dysmorphic brand. They charge you money to go to a store and return too. BE CAREFUL! its NOT CURVE FRIENDLY AT ALL! DONT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO GOOD AMERICAN!

Second Poor Experience

I took a chance and ordered for a second time from Good American after an extremely poor first i.e. I ordered a size 4 and a size 14 came. It took weeks to get a refund. I ordered another pair of jeans last week and this time the correct size came but the zip was broken!! So frustrating as I am now in the position of having to contact customer service yet again to try and sort out. What a waste of time!!

Happy customer from the UK

I ordered from the UK and they arrived in 5 working days, with free shipping. I always knew about the brand but hadn’t considered them until after having a baby. 3 months postpartum I still couldn’t get back into my pre-pregnancy jeans and was sick of wearing leggings. I ordered a pair of the good legs and the stretch and sizing is just perfect. They are so comfy and the fit (straight leg) feels current. Because of the stretch I’m sure they’ll still fit once I’ve dropped some more baby weight too so they won’t be a waste of money. I will most definitely order again and would recommend!

Delivery Address Disaster

Immediately after placing my order, I realized the delivery address is incorrect. I tried to cancel. There is no option.

I tried to change the delivery address. After 3 DAYS I'm told the address cannot be changed.

Now I am out hundreds of dollars for a couple swim suits and priority shipping which I will not receive. What am I supposed to do?

It is unacceptable for a respected company like Good American not to be able to honor a simple request like cancel an order or a delivery address change which was submitted within an hour of an order. Especially given it takes '4 days to ship for delivery'?! Extremely disappointed in the customer service here.

Good service and good jeans

I really wished these jeans fit. Unfortunately I was in between sizes and would have needed the waist altered, but they did make my butt look amazing. Customer service was also great. Good enough I felt compelled to write a review because they were just too nice lol I was a little nervous ordering from them but they were great so try them out!
